Photograph of the adobe house belonging to the Pima Indian interpreter, Gila Crossing, ca.1900. Two men, two women and a little boy sit in front of the small rectangular dwelling with a peaked shingled roof. One man is sitting in a chair. The other man is sitting on the stoop. The two women, wrapped in blankets, are sitting on the ground. One of them is weaving a basket. The little boy is sitting in a child's wagon. A windmill is visible in the background at left.
