Description
Photograph of an interior view of an unidentified automobile factory showing workers on an assembly line, ca.1925. A man in the center stands on a low wooden platform wearing a helmet, glasses, an apron, and gloves over his clothing. The man looks down while holding a large car part that he appears to be sanding on a wheel in front of him. In the background, two men to the left stand side by side as they appear to work on the assembly of a car part. To the right of center, an older man stands behind the man in center looking down. Three workers are visible in the background to the right. A sign that reads "DO NOT STEP ON CONVEYOR" hangs from the ceiling to the left of center.
