Description
Photograph of a drawing or painting of Don Antonio Coronel's home, "El Recreo", ca.1870. The house is a small ranch-style home at center with a covered porch. There is a large orchard at right, and more crops are being grown in the background and at left. A dirt road makes its way up to the house at center, and another dirt road runs from right to left in the foreground. Two horse-drawn vehicles are traveling this road. A railroad is in front of the dirt road, and a steam locomotive is headed to the left. Another dirt road is in the extreme front of the image and a single horse-drawn buggy is headed to the right.
