Description
Photograph of the interior view of the Mission San Gabriel showing the altar lavishly decorated for a wedding, ca.1895. On the far wall of the mission are six statues framed by faux archways. They are arranged in two tiers of three, with the central archway of each being slightly larger than either of the two that flank it. On the altar itself is a crucifix about which are arranged five candelabras each containing three candles. The mission is filled with palm fronds and other foliage.
