Description
Photographic portrait of Fiesta de Los Angeles Queen, Mrs. Modini Wood, in profile, ca.1895. Mrs. Wood can be seen from the waist up. She is seated with her head turned to the left. She wears her celebratory dress, a lightly-colored gown that appears to be made of silk or satin, and features lace decoration down its bodice. The sleeves are puffed. She wears a floral corsage on her right shoulder, and holds more flowers at her lap in her hands. Her hair is pulled back into a bun. She appears to be middle-aged.
