Description
Photograph of San Francisco earthquake damage, showing an exterior view of the City Hall Dome, 1906. Palm trees surround the fence which contains the large City Hall Dome at center. A statue depicting a warrior stands guard on a large, lightly-colored pedestal just in front of the building. Most of the exterior wall of the dome has crumbled leaving the interior frame exposed. The statue which appears to depict a Greek woman figure holding a torch still stands in tact at the top of the dome.
