Description
Photograph of the interior view of the Covina Public Library (Carnegie Library), Covina, ca.1920. The room is filled with wooden tables and chairs coated with wood finishing to give it a shiny look. The wooden columns and parts of the wall are made of the same type of wood and finishing. Table lamps (at each table) and chandeliers hanging from the high ceiling provide light for the rooms. Magazines (or journals?) are spread out across a shelf at right. Three portraits of men hand on the wall above a column at left. Further to the left is a shelf filled with books. Another portrait hangs near the receptionist desk (center).
