Description
Photograph of sheep wash place at Guajome Ranch, with a fence in the background, ca.1898-1901. A short section of wooden fence separates part of the pond from a low embankment at right. A large tree grows on the embankment. A wooden building(?) is visible at the far end of the pond. This sheep wash place was described by Ramona as being at Camulos. The Indian, Ramona, was made famous in the novel of the same name by Helen Hunt Jackson.
