Description
Photograph of sheep corrals at Guajome Ranch, ca.1887-1890. The view looks through an opening into an area enclosed by stucco walls. A wood-paneled roof hangs over the foreground while the roofs in the room at center are tiled. The windows and doors of the room are barred with wood posts. Spoken of by Ramona, the Indian made famous in the novel of the same name by Helen Hunt Jackson.
