Photograph of a man "hypnotizing" an alligator at an alligator farm (possibly the California Alligator Farm, Los Angeles), ca.1900. A man in what appears to be casual dress and a brimmed hat bends on one knee and extends his left arm above the body of an overturned alligator. His sleeves are rolled up to his elbows.
