Description
Photograph of exterior aerial view of an unidentified factory, ca.1940. At center, a group of long buildings can be seen sitting at the center of a cement lot. The roof of the large building at the center of the lot is ridged, and various vents and appliances litter the rooftop. Several windows can be seen along the side of the building, and two entryways are visible on the right side of the building. To the immediate left of the large structure, a small group of buildings can be seen with a fenced perimeter. In the foreground of the factory, lines of automobiles sit parked . Groups of automobiles can also be seen to the right of the factory and in the immediate background. To the far right of the factory, a large street is seen lined with utility poles. In the extreme foreground to the right, a line of cars sit parked next to a partially-visible building. In the extreme background to the left, a string of utility poles move through a vacant field. To the right, multiple clusters of homes are visible.
