Description
Photograph of a group of Indians threshing wheat at the pueblo town of Cibolleta, New Mexico, ca.1900. Three men with pitchforks move the wheat (or straw) around near a corral built of a rough wood post and rail fence. About ten horses and a man on horseback stand in the corral. Four children, a woman and another man look on. The scene stands out in silhouette against a bright evening or morning sky.
