Photograph of a copper mining town, Bisbee (Jerome?), Arizona, ca.1900. Three smokestacks of a large processing shed are visible at right. Several smaller buildings are perched along a ledge of the steep slope of a mountainside at left. Smoke belches from stacks behind the large shed. Switchbacks are cut into the slope. At top, a long row of rail cars carry ore.
