Description
Photograph of an exterior view of Mission San Miguel from the south end, 1897. The adobe buildings are at center. In the foreground is a long low structure with a set of arches at right. At left, the adobe bricks are not covered in spackle and their brown shapes are exposed. The roof of this building is made of terracotta tiles. There is a taller adobe building in the background; it too has a terracotta roof and is mostly covered with white spackle. The extensive grounds in front of the mission buildings are covered in dry grass.
