Description
Photograph of a portrait of George Dalton, Sr., [s.d.]. A balding man with sallow cheeks stares forward, with a hand on his hip, and another against the mantelpiece(?) and curtain at left. He wears a dark suit and bow tie, with a white shirt beneath it, and stands on a tiled floor. He came to Los Angeles by way of the Isthmus of Panama. He owned a ranch at Central Avenue and Washington, and is the father of Mrs. William H. Perry and George Dalton, Jr.
