Description
Photograph of the porch of the old John Thompson Hotel, Coulterville, ca.1930. The paved sidewalk lies at center and is shaded by the canopy above and the trees that line the street on the left. The poles that support the canopy of the porch are intricately carved towards their tops. A lightly-colored bench can be seen in the foreground on the right while several chairs and a wooden bench sit further down on the sidewalk. What appears to be a birdcage hangs from a tree on the left and a garage with gas pumps can be seem in the background behind the tree.
