Description
Photograph of Saint Patricks Church after the 1906 earthquake in San Jose, April,1906. Debris spills out onto the street on the left and surrounds a plant-covered, intact wall of the church at center. The remains of a tall, stained glass window stands on the right with a ladder leaning on the frame. A small palm tree stands in the yard of the church with a short, wire fence with wooden posts lining the street in the foreground. Other damaged buildings can be seen in the background on the right.
