Description
Photograph of a hitching post resembling a horse's head, Folsom, ca.1936. The hitching post, a relic of the horse and buggy days, depicts a horse's head and can be seen center. The post, which appears to be stone, stands prominently along a sidewalk in Folsom amongst the wood and debris of the surrounding street work. In the distance, to the left and above the post, electrical poles can be seen with nearby trees.
