Description
Photograph of Randsburg Mining district, October 1926. In the foreground is a plain looking building with two tanks that hook into the building through pipes. A bridge nearby stands adjacent to the building. In the background are other buildings and mining structures. Picture file card reads: "This mine is owned by the California Rand Co., but it is better known as the Kelley Mine. Named after its discoverer Ed Kelley. Although it is barely 2 miles southeast of Randsburg, a small settlement has sprung up around the mine, called Hampton".
