Description
Photograph of an adobe wall surrounding an olive orchard north of the Mission San Fernando, ca.1890. The adobe wall runs from left to right across the entire width of the image, and appears to be about six feet tall. Behind it, several palm trees can be seen, followed by ordered rows of olive trees. Hills are visible in the background along the horizon. In the foreground a small creek and a wooden railing of some kind are visible. A dry scrub bush is visible to the left. See CHS-535 for a view from the other side of the wall.
