Description
Photograph of a downtown street in Highland with an electric car, ca.1908. A street lies along the right side and intersects a second street at center. Buildings stand along the left side, many of them brick with awnings reaching out over the sidewalks. People walk beneath the awnings and a horse-drawn carriage sits at the corner of the two streets at center. An electric car stands near the intersection at right with a second horse-drawn carriage at its side. Electrical poles line either side of the street and trees stand along the far right.
