Description
Photograph of a prime view of the Battleship Butte from Grand Canyon Village in the Grand Canyon, ca.1900-1930. The butte, a rock formation shaped like a battleship (center), sits on one of the many plateaus within the Grand Canyon. From this view, with the exception of the canyon below, the land at the top is almost perfectly horizontal. A bush and a tree are visible in the foreground.
