Description
Photograph of a building on Second Street in Sacramento, bearing a plaque which commemorates the terminus of the famous Pony Express, ca.1910. A man in a jacket and hat stands at center at the edge of the sidewalk, turned away from the viewer. The building before him is a narrow, two-story building with cloth awnings over the entrance and upper windows. The plaque appears to be affixed to the right. The rear of a truck can be seen to the left. The Pony Express originated in 1860.
