Description
Photograph of an exterior view of a tavern at Wilson's Peak, ca.1900. The tavern is a wooden building built on the side of the mountain. It has two stories and a third level observation deck. The second story has a covered porch along the long side at left, and several patrons are enjoying the view from deck chairs. A line of rectangular windows and doors wraps around the entire second floor, and a single open doorway is visible on the first. The area around the tavern is full of trees and plants except for a section of the hillside at right that is mostly bare.
