Description
Photograph of an birdseye view of Rich Bar on the Feather River in northern California, ca.1930. There are only a handful of wooden buildings making up the small town of Rich Bar, which was known as one of the richest gold-producing sites in the area. The buildings are all on the right bank of the river, settled among several large pine trees. The river is bordered by tall mountains covered with conifer trees.
