Description
Photograph of a dying Sycamore tree in Arroyo Seco, ca.1920. Two trunks are pictured at center, their branches clipped and stumpy. The surrounding ground is littered with scrub grass and sparse leaves, while a path appears to be at the right, demarcated by small stones. A mountain is visible in the background.
