Description
Photograph of a Blue Ribbon Mayonnaise booth at a fair for the Curtis Corp, ca.1930. A rectangular booth stands in the center with two women sitting inside. The front of the booth has two identical pictures of a stack of Blue Ribbon Mayonnaise on both sides while jars of mayonnaise cover the three sides of the counter. A pot with two flowers stands on the counter, in the middle of the two women. A large sign that forms the back of the booth showcases a ribbon over a real stack of mayonnaise. Two men in suits stand outside of the booth on the left with their gaze directed towards the women in the center. In the right background, a picture of a scenic mountain landscape is visible while the side of a both that reads "Curtis Quality" is visible on the left.

Description
The more than 3,600 unique photographs of this collection document the Chamber's promotional efforts during the city's early years. The photographic collection contains images showing the growth of important municipal enterprises, such as ground transportation systems, aviation, and shipping. In addition there are about 1,000 lantern slides in this collection -- not yet fully digitized.
