Description
Photograph of the Nevada-California boundary marker, Truckee, ca.1930. An automobile faces the foreground at center with the stone marker on the left. The marker has a small circle on top and a rectangular plaque at the center. The road on the right rides along the mountain side with the rocky hill above on the left and many trees sloping down on the right. An automobile can be seen driving away further down the road. "A few miles east of Truckee, Highway 40 passes into Nevada. The monument marks the boundary. California is in the foreground".
