Description
Photograph of a view from the Diamond Spring Road of Placerville, ca.1930. Trees stand amongst the congested buildings of Placerville at center. Thee roofs, which are primarily lightly-colored, are generally all that the view provides of the town's buildings. Taller, longer buildings can be seen standing above others while trees and hills blanket the background.; Photoprint reads "It bears no resemblance to the old Stangtown of mining days".
