Description
Photograph of the main business street in Dutch Flat, showing the Hotel Annex, ca.1930. The dirt street runs along the right side of the street, while the left side is lined with buildings and trees. In the bottom left corner is a large, white, wooden building with a covered porch and balcony. There are other unidentified buildings further down the street. The Hotel Annex was built in 1854.; Photoprint reads as follows: "Dutch Flat -- Quaint and colorful, its one street lies in a hollow, lined with old poplar and locust trees. On the left is the Hotel Annex built in 1854. Next, with the raised sidewalk is the Q.O.O.F. Hall 1854 and beyond is the P.O. and store dating back to 1854".
