Description
Photograph of people working in a factory in Visalia, 1900-1940. Most of the people are seated at long rows of wooden boxes full of fruit. Other people are standing near more boxes of fruit at right. The seated workers all are women, while several of the standing ones are men. The women are all wearing long dresses, and the men are wearing long-sleeved shirts and ties or overalls. An intricate network of rafters and pipes is visible above the workers near the ceiling of the factory.
