Description
Photograph of the rock formation known as Bass Tomb from the north rim of the Grand Canyon, 1900-1930. It sticks up like a grave marker from a mountain in the canyon in the distance. A towering formation in the foreground at left has nearly vertical rocky walls shaped by erosion. Bushes or trees are visible in the lower left foreground.
