Description
Photograph of a painting depicting the exterior of the Mission Nuestra Senora de la Soledad, Monterey, ca.1900. The two-story adobe of the mission's main building is pictured at center, its roof covered by terracotta tiles and a cross affixed to its top. To the right of it, the roof of the cloisters has collapsed inward. Several crossed gravestones stand planted in the ground to the left, next to a cluster of trees. Piles of indefinite material stand in the field at front.
