Description
Photograph of the exterior of the Kabab Forest Hotel on the north rim of the Grand Canyon, three miles from the bridge where Utah, Nevada and Arizona join, ca.1930. The hotel is built under a large boulder and has stone wall built to provide shelter. There is a wooden covered "porch" at right. There is a single window on the end of the hotel and it is covered by a striped awning. There is a low stone wall at left. Two deer heads are visible--one on the wall at left and the other on a stack of rocks in the foreground--and a set of antlers is mounted on the porch. There is a very big rock formation in the background.
