"West coast", 1998. Unknown artist. Location unknown. Painting on the side of cinderblock walls in a vacant lot. "Live on Pico & LaBrea. The revolution will not be televized. Quit playkaten'. The government u have elected is inoperative. Gill Scott. These styles mus not be bitten. They mus be understood. Reflect on thsi as yourself in a mirror. Then you will realize ou are beneath the surface." Photographed ca. 1998 October.
