Description
Home to a starry knight, Los Angeles, 1990, Ocean Front Walk at Wavecrest Avenue by Rip Cronk. A huge blow-up of Vincent Van Gogh's Starry night, one of artist's favorite paintings. The brush stroke is purposely done in a graffiti style partly because that is how Van Gogh painted and also appeal to the Venice community. Sponsor by Werner Scharff in liquitex acrylic/air brush, 17' x 37' -- Dunitz, Street gallery, rev. 2nd ed., p.192, #18. "Homage to a starry knight; R. Cronk, 1990" -- on the mural.
