Description

Olympic series, Los Angeles, 1984, Harbor Fwy. (110) South at 3rd Street on ramp. Three suspended cloth-like forms give the illusion of tapestries on the L.A. landscape. Combining culturally specific and universal elements (ie. heart, trombone, pyramid), each panel attempts to reflect local cultures. By Alonzo Davis. Acrylic on concrete, approximately 20' x 200'.
