Description
Four freedoms, Burbank, 1942. Burbank City Hall, interior 2nd floor Council chambers, 275 East Olive Street (at 3rd Street), Burbank. This painting is based on the four freedoms outlined in the Atlantic Charter signed by U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. The are Freedom of Speech, Freedoms of Religion, Freedom from Want, and Freedoms from Fear. 11' x 22, by Hugo Ballin. Sponsored by City of Burbank. -- Dunitz, Street gallery, p. 126, #5.
