Blessing of the animals, Los Angeles, 1974-78, Eugene Biscailuz Building, exterior entrance, Olvera Street. Commemorates Blessing of the Animals, an ancient ceremony that has been performed on Olvera Street since the 1780s, becoming an animal event in 1938. Acrylic, by Leo Politi.
