Description
Subway terminal building, Untitled, Los Angeles, ca.1926. Subway terminal building, exterior over entrance, 417 South Hill St. (between 4th and 5th Streets). Transportation motif. This building, a Historical Cultural Landmark since 1979, was built as the terminal for the Red Car trolleys. Subway service ended in 1955. By Ravenna Mosaic Company. Mosaic tile, 9' x 17'.
