Description
City of dreams/River of history, 1996, Union Station, interior east portal, Alameda Street at Cesar Chavez Avenue. Portraits of Native Americans, settlers of the L.A. basin, and contemporary Angelenos. Around the border are representations of local native flora and fauna as as well as symbols of transportation. The mural is part of a collaborative environmental project with artists May Sun and Paul Diez. Other elements include an aquarium and a river bench.
