Description
"Shows the phrase 'Save the Amazon' in big bold colorful letters. At the top reads: 'All the sacred colors come to...' It also shows a caricature of a man with long hair and big dark glasses." Part of untitled murals located at Taix Plaza, Pico Boulevard and Union Street, by Eart Crew. "The Earth Crew was Chewv, Skate (R.I.P.), Omega, Poime, Saint, Skan, Tuck, Ryse, Skill, Tempt, Skept, Ben, Hyde, Mear, Jack, Mach, Defer, Duke, Nemesis, Nuke, Draser, and Hex. The mural was painted in 1990 and restored in 1999 by Prime and Kaefer. It reads "We do not have generations, we only have 15 years in which to save our planet..." Another section, around a corner, reads "All the sacred colors come together in a rainbow tribe... dedicated 2 the original Americans." -- https://www.grconnect.com/murals/html/r07img0812.html.
