Description
Madame Shin Saim-Dang, 1990, 1325 South Western Avenue (mural on 14th St.), Koreatown. The mural's subject was a 16th century Korean poet and painter, and the mother of the Yi dynasty's famous scholar Yi Yul-gok. By Sonia Hahn. Technical assistance from Dong-In Park. Also assisted by Hugh Kim, Dong-Jin Lee, Jonathan Park and Simon Park. Arcylic, 14' x 14'. Sponsored by SPARC. (Slide mount: Sonia Hahn in front of Madame Shin Saim-Dang).
