Detail of Third Street School, Untitled mural, 1989, Third Street School, exterior eating area, 201 South June Street (between 2nd and 3rd Sts.), Hancock Park. The school as it might have looked during pre-historic times (students riding a dinosaur and the school building in a cave), as it is today, and as it might appear in the future (students arriving at school in a spaceship and a child holding hands with an alien). Designed and painted by students under the direction of Roderick Sykes. Sponsored by Third Street School. -- Dunitz, Street gallery, rev. 2nd ed., p. 75, #29.
