Description
Cecil, 1989, Watts Towers Center, exterior, 1727 East 107th Street (between Willowbrook Avenue and Alamada Street). A tribute to Cecil Fergerson, an important force in the local African American art community. In acrylic on concrete, 17' x 24' by Richard Wyatt with assistance from Blanca Gozales, Ishmael Lewis, Areli Velasquez and Ian White. Sponsored by Social and Public Art Resource Center -- Dunitz, Street gallery, rev. 2nd ed., p. 234, #23 (photo on p. 26).
