Description We know who we are, Long Beach, 1995. Pacific A Line Station (formerly the Blue Line), Pacific Avenue near 5th Street), Downtown Long Beach. The images developed from the artist's sketches and paintings of the local people and their diverse cultural identities. The focus is what they have in common, especially in family and everyday life. The north-facing panels reflect contemporary scenes in the neighborhood, while the south-facing panels show icons representing their cultural histories.
