Description
Products of nature and inventions of man, 1937, Hooper Avenue School auditorium, exterior, 2225 [i.e. 1225] East 52nd Street (at Hooper Avenue). The mosaic depicts a human figure in the hands of nature flanked by man-made and natural objects. Mosaic by Stanton Macdonald Wright, sponsored by Federal Art Project -- Dunitz, Street gallery, rev. 2nd ed., p. 208, #7.
