Description
The Aztec princess, 1989, Sunlaw Energy Corporation, exterior facing train tracks, Downey Road between Fruitland Avenue and Leonis Boulevard. A portrait of the artist's girlfriend standing on a globe. Her pose is a combination of the Statue of Liberty and the Virgin of Guadalupe. In acrylic by Eloy Torrez. Sponsored by Robert Danziger -- Dunitz, Street gallery, rev. 2nd ed., p. 235, #24. According to the Google Maps street view image, the mural does not exist anymore (as of November 2011).
