Description
Detail 2 of 4 of Together we dance, Long Beach, 1991, C.D. Auto Repair and Body Center, exterior, Anaheim Street and Walnut Avenue. Images of African, Cambodian and Mexican Dancers. A Mural Mentor project. In acrylic, 3 panels, 15' x 40' by Elliott Pinkney with assistance from Idris Brown and Fermin "Pete" Santa Cruz. Sponsored by Long Beach Community Development Department and the Long Beach Department of Parks and Recreation -- Dunitz, Street gallery, rev. 2nd ed., p. 262, #43. According to the Google maps street view image, the mural does not exist anymore (as of November 2011).
