Description
Detail 1 of 2 of The jazz men, Long Beach, 1994. Third Street between Pine and Pacific avenues, Downtown Long Beach. Re-painting of an image of jazz musicians originally done in 1991 for The Storefront Project, a group of ten temporary murals commissioned by the local Public Corporation for the Arts and the Redevelopment Agency, beautify downtown Long Beach. Most are gone now. Acrylic, by Joseph Giri. -- Dunitz, Street gallery, rev. 2nd ed., p. 268, #72.
